The dangers of wood burning stoves
Wood burning stoves are a fantastic addition to any home. They have become extremely popular over the last few years, for a number of reasons. Firstly they look great, but they are also environmentally friendly using carbon-neutral fuel, and are far more enery efficient than an open fire.
The problem is that not everyone understands the dangers involved in maintaining and correctly running a wood burning stove. Wood smoke contains pollutants within it which can be harmful, and it can also be a source of carbon monoxide.
Check out our latest article about the fire safety procedures involved in having a wood burning stove.
