The Importance of carbon monoxide safety

More and more frequently we are seeing stories in the press about people suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning, due to faulty boilers. One of the most recent high profile examples was in Wales which took place when a self employed gas fitter left the boiler of an OAP couple in a lethal condition, inadvertently causing their deaths. Click here to read more about this story

The importance of regularly checking your boiler cannot be emphasised enough. It is equally important to ensure that you use a professional who has the necessary certifications. However, even this is not enough. To give yourself and your family total protection, it is essential that you fit a carbon monoxide alarm. FireAngel provides a range of carbon monoxide detectors to suit all purposes including portable CO detectors, which can even be taken on holiday. Giving you and your family peace of mind.
